Our plan sucks tbh. For some reason our union agreed to have teachers pay into the health insurance plan, but let all school board employees benefit from it (they don't contribute). So no dental or vision coverage. Of course, meds are covered (the old teachers made sure of that), so a healthy 30 year old has no use of these benefits

no dental or vision is particularly galling to me.

i've worked for companies with no vision coverage but now i wouldn't take a job that doesn't offer medical, dental, and vision coverage.
