Hopefully making a Quebec swing next year if finances allow it.

I hear the whole road is gone-- haven't been up that way though. Fiance lives up in the Saginaw area, so I don't venture much further past there.

Yeah, I'm not looking forward to them dethroning the 3 year run of dominance by the sea dogs, but it's inevitable with the talent they have massed there now.

How she goes sometimes in the CHL. I spose I can hope for Coyle and Phillips to come back for one more year now that the wild have filled out the roster with Parise.

Also, Brian - By saying "
He's been described as a poor-man's Burrows
", I would assume Nick Foligno would be a good fit there as a comparable.

Sorry, he started with the best.

Habs really had a very good draft full of potential.

I agree, Les Habs had the best Canadian draft by far IMO. Nice pickup of Armstrong too, he's a great addition when healthy unfortunately for the leafs he was often injured.

I honestly do not know how it will work out for Armstrong here.

Hopefully he can become an effective role player and stay healthy but since it's only 1 year and 1M.... not a big risk to take.

That was a sincere, unsolicited compliment about the Montreal Canadiens coming from a Leafs fan. Huh. You have my respect, sir.

Burrows is the poor mans Burrows...easily one of the best deals in the league at 2 million per. He was never drafted and probably shoulda never made the NHL but his work ethic got him there. He's not Mallets size either, so the comparison doesn't quite fit for me. Guess I'll just have to wait and see what his game brings to decide if its a good comparison or not.
